Create Your Event With HubSpot Meetings

HubSpot meeting scheduler lets prospects book a meeting time easily with a direct connection to HubSpot CRM features (contacts, accounts). 

By connecting Livestorm and HubSpot together, you and your team members can have a Livestorm event automatically added as a video conferencing app for your calendar event generated by HubSpot. This is useful if you want to use all the power of Livestorm and in particular, the native analytics features to better understand your attendees’ behavior.

Enable a Calendar Integration on Livestorm#

Since the Livestorm integration with HubSpot relies on a calendar connection, you need to activate a calendar integration on both tools. 

On the Livestorm side, therefore choose your favorite calendar app: Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar, and enable the activation thanks to the direct connection to your personal account.

Enable the Calendar on HubSpot#

To be able to use Livestorm with HubSpot Meetings, you need to enable your calendar on HubSpot:

1Click on your name or Picture at the top right corner and go to Profile & Preferences.

2Go to General > Calendar and click on Connect your calendar.

3Select your calendar provider and click on Connect your calendar.

4Allow and connect your calendar provider.

5Choose your calendar account. Make sure to use the same account you have used on Livestorm!

6Allow access to your calendar account.

7That's it, your calendar has been added to HubSpot Meetings! 🎉

Configure the HubSpot Meeting Types With Livestorm#

The last step to make HubSpot work with Livestorm is to configure the HubSpot meeting types.

1Click on Sales on your top navigation bar and then go to Meetings where you can find all your meeting types.

2Edit the meeting where you want to have Livestorm as a video conferencing tool and use at least one of the following settings, or even both if you want to.

• Use the location of your event

In the Location field, write #livestorm (this location will be copied into the calendar invite).

• Use the description of your event

You can use the #livestorm in the Description field (the full description will be copied to the calendar invite).

3To finish, click on Save at the bottom of the page to save all your changes.

And that’s it, you’re all set! 🎉 Next time a meeting will be booked on your HubSpot booking page with the meeting configured previously, the attendee and yourself will receive a calendar invitation and the Livestorm video conferencing link will automatically be added to the calendar event 5 minutes later. Your attendee will also receive their personal link to enter the Livestorm event room by email.
