Create Your Event With Salesloft

Salesloft enables sales teams to book easily with prospects. By connecting Livestorm and Salesloft together, you and your team members can have a Livestorm event automatically added as a video conferencing app for your calendar event generated by Salesloft. This is useful if you want to use all the power of Livestorm and in particular, the native analytics features to better understand your attendees’ behavior.

Enable a Calendar Integration on Livestorm

Since the Livestorm integration with Salesloft relies on a calendar connection, you need to activate a calendar integration on both tools.

On the Livestorm side, therefore choose your favorite calendar app: Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar, and enable the activation thanks to the direct connection to your personal account.

Enable the Calendar on Salesloft

To be able to use Livestorm with Saleloft, you need to enable your calendar on Salesloft:

Click on your name at the top right corner and then Settings > Calendar > Set Up Calendar

Select the same calendar enabled on your Livestorm account (Google Calendar or Outlook) and click on the Link Calendar button. Be sure to use the same account you have used on Livestorm!  😉

Configure the Salesloft Meeting Types With Livestorm

The last step to make Salesloft work with Livestorm is to configure the Salesloft meeting types. 

There are 2 different ways to add Livestorm as your video conferencing tool. You can use either the location of your meeting or the description of your meeting.

• Using the location of your meeting:

Click on your name at the top right corner and then Settings > Calendar > General

In the Location field, write down #livestorm and don't forget to click on Save at the bottom of the page.

Then go to Communication > Meetings > Meeting Types. In the Location field, enter the dynamic variable {{MeetingOwner.meeting_location}} to refer to the owner location you have defined in the previous step.

Save your meeting at the bottom of the page.

• Using the description of your meeting:

Go to Communication > Meetings > Meeting Types.

In the Description box, enter somewhere in your text the keyword #livestorm.

Save your meeting at the bottom of the page.

And that’s it, you’re all set! 🎉 Next time a meeting (matching the meeting type configured above) will be booked on Salesloft, the attendee and yourself will receive a calendar invitation and the Livestorm video conferencing link will automatically be added to the calendar event 5 minutes later. Your attendee will also receive their personal link to enter the Livestorm event room by email.
