Register for Multiple Sessions at Once

Who can use it? Admin, Member, Workspace owner

On which plans? All

Make it easy for attendees to pick several dates in one go. With Multi-session registration, visitors can select multiple upcoming sessions of the same event directly on your registration page, reducing friction and saving time for everyone.

This functionality appears automatically when your event has multiple upcoming sessions.

What you can do#

  • Let visitors select multiple upcoming sessions in one submission.

  • Offer several time slots (recurring or ad-hoc sessions) under a single registration link.

  • Use the same experience on your public registration page and on your embedded registration form.

This feature applies to sessions within the same event. It doesn’t register attendees across separate events.

How it works (attendee experience)#

Attendees can select multiple session dates at the time of registration. They receive one confirmation and reminder per selected session, each with the correct access link.

  1. Open your event’s registration page (or your embedded form).

  2. Click the Session(s) field.

  3. Select all the sessions you want to attend. You can pick more than one.

Select: Multiple Sessions

Important: Registrants can select up to 5 sessions per submission.

4. Complete the registration form and submit.

Register Multiple Sessions

If already registered for one or more sessions of this event, a confirmation modal will appear. It will show how many sessions you’re already registered for and ask you to confirm registration for any additional sessions you’ve selected. Duplicate registrations will not be created.

What happens next:

  • Registrants are registered to each selected session.

  • They receive separate confirmation emails and reminders for each session.

  • Each session appears in their calendar and emails independently.

Before you start#

  • Create your event with multiple upcoming sessions.

  • Make sure each session is scheduled and visible on the event’s registration page.

Event dashboard with multiple sessions

Set up your event#

There’s no special toggle to enable. When an event has multiple upcoming sessions, your registrants will be able to select multiple sessions for your event.

  1. Create an event (or open an existing one).

  2. Go to the Sessions tab and add all the upcoming dates you want to offer.

  3. Publish your event and share the event registration link.

That’s it, multi-session selection appears automatically on registration pages for events with multiple upcoming sessions.

Add clear session names (e.g., “Getting Started – AMER”, “Getting Started – EMEA”) to help visitors choose the right dates at a glance.

For embedded registration widget:

  • The same multi-select experience works with the Registration Form embed.

  • No extra code is required beyond your standard embed.

What gets sent to attendees#

  • Confirmation emails: One per selected session, including the personal access link for that date.

  • Reminder emails: One per selected session, based on your email schedule.

  • Calendar invites: One per selected session so attendees can easily add each date to their calendar.

Because each session is separate, your registrants will receive multiple emails if they select multiple sessions. This is expected and helps ensure they get the right access link and reminders for each date.

Note: Times are automatically shown in each attendee’s local timezone.

Managing multi-session registrations (organizer view)#

  • People tab: You’ll see registrants counted per session and for the overall event.

  • Filtering: Filter by session to view attendance, registrations, and engagement per date.

  • Edits and cancellations: If you need to move someone to a different date, add them to a session, or cancel their seat, manage it from the Sessions or People tab as usual.

  • Export and Analytics: Exports and analytics list registrations per session (so one contact may appear multiple times if they chose multiple sessions).

  • Cancellation and Rescheduling: You can cancel or reschedule individual sessions without affecting others. Affected registrants are notified at the session level.

Limitations and behaviour notes#

  • Capacity: If a session is full, it shows as unavailable on the registration page.

  • Overlaps: If attendees pick overlapping sessions, they’ll still receive unique access links for each session. Encourage them to attend the one that fits best.

  • Approval flows: If you require approval, each selected session follows the same approval process independently.

  • Integrations and Webhooks: If you use integrations or webhooks, one registration event is sent for each session selected.

If you offer many dates, keep session names and times clear and consistent. Consider grouping dates (e.g., weekly, monthly) to make selection easier.

Best practices#

  • Name your sessions clearly to help visitors choose quickly.

  • Add all relevant dates before promoting your event so visitors can select everything in one visit.

  • Use the People tab filters after each session to review performance and follow up with attendees.
