Registrations don’t consume credits. Attendee credits are used only when someone joins the room, whether they join before or during the live, watch the replay, or watch it on-demand.

Livestorm’s Pro and Enterprise plans use a flexible attendee-based pricing model. You purchase attendee credits, and they’re only used when someone joins the room, whether they join before or during the live event, watch the replay, or watch it on-demand, so your costs reflect real attendance rather than registrations.

Livestorm pricing now is based on actual attendees, not registrants. You purchase attendee credits and use them across all events and teams within your workspace.
This means:
You can use your credits however you need throughout the year, perfect for usage spikes.
You only pay only for actual attendees, no charges for no-shows or team members.
Your events, recordings and team members remain unlimited.
Registrations don’t consume credits. Attendee credits are used only when someone joins the room, whether they join before or during the live, watch the replay, or watch it on-demand.
Attendee credits count your audience, not your team. Internal workspace members aren’t included, so you can add as many team members as you like without affecting credit usage.
Only Admins and Workspace owners can view or manage billing.
Each plan includes a set number of attendee credits.
One credit is used when one attendee joins the event room, whether they join before or during the live event, watch the replay, or watch it on-demand.
Example:
5 event sessions with 100 attendees each → 500 credits used in total.
The number of events and the number of team members assigned to each event don’t matter. You only use credits when people actually attend.
Unused credits don’t roll over to the next billing period
If someone attends live and later watches the replay, they’re only counted as one billable attendee.

If you were on a Monthly Active Contacts (MAC) plan and want to migrate to the attendee-based model, go to Account settings > Billing and follow the on-screen instructions to switch to the attendee-based model.
Confirm your new plan:
The options you see in “Billing” may vary depending on your current plan and billing set-up. Don't hesitate to contact support if you need any help.
You’re only charged credits when attendees join the event room (live or replay), not when they register.
Livestorm helps you avoid surprises as you approach your attendee credit limit. In your Account settings > Billing. You can check your usage to see how many you have left and for which period.
You’ll receive smart alerts:
In-app notifications
Email notifications
These alerts are displayed before you reach your limit and again when you exceed it.
When your attendee credit limit is reached:
New attendees can’t join upcoming sessions.
People who have already been counted as attendees can still join (for example, returning attendees).
People can still register for events.
Team members aren’t counted as attendees, so your team can still run and moderate sessions.
Check remaining credits in Account settings > Billing
If you’re close to the limit, consider upgrading your plan before your next event.
Enterprise plans allow you to go beyond your quota by default:
You’ll still get alerts, but they’re typically less alarming.
Attendance beyond your included credits may result in overages.
Please feel free to reach out to your account manager to explore the available options further
