When you first sign up for Livestorm, you get Livestorm Basic, which is a free plan. You'll be able to publish unlimited test events for free. 

If you upgrade to Livestorm Premium, you can run an unlimited number of events (up to 4-hour duration) with unlimited members and registrants

And if you have more than 1500 monthly active users, you can get Livestorm Enterprise.

Our plans & pricing per Admin apply to customers who subscribed to Livestorm before June 13, 2022. Customers who subscribed after this date, please refer to your own billing and pricing.

We consider a monthly active user a user that has either registered to an event, entered a room, or watched a replay. We will count the same active user only once per month.

Our pricing is defined through monthly and annual subscriptions. Therefore we don't have pricing per event.

Livestorm Tip 👉 If you don't plan on using Livestorm on a regular basis, you can opt for our monthly subscription and cancel before your renewal date.

Livestorm Basic

When you sign up to Livestorm, you get a free plan to try the platform with no day limit allowing you to:

  • Publish as many events as you'd like for free
  • Host up to 20-minute events
  • Have up to 10 registrants
  • Have up to 10 attendees
  • Have 1 Instant Meeting room

You have access to the same features as with Livestorm Premium so you can test them out.

Your test events will be accessible on any browser including on mobile or tablet devices.

Livestorm Premium

You might need to host longer events than Livestorm Basic offers or be able to add more admins and attendees. In that case, you can upgrade to Livestorm Premium.

Livestorm Premium allows you to:

  • Host up to 4-hour events
  • Have up to 1000 attendees
  • Add additional admins
  • Have unlimited registrants
  • Create unlimited Instant Meeting rooms
  • Have up to 16 participants per Instant Meeting

Livestorm Enterprise

With Livestorm Enterprise, you get all the Livestorm Premium features with best-in-class service

You'll have a custom package and additional services like:

  • Multiple workspaces with unified billing
  • Premium training with a Livestorm expert
  • Have up to 3000 attendees
  • SLA
  • A dedicated CSM
  • Priority support
  • and much more....!

The multiple workspaces feature is available with our Enterprise plan as a paid add-on.

Admins, Members, Attendees, Monthly Active Contacts

The account owner is an admin by default.

You can add multiple admins to your Livestorm account. Our pricing is per admin and nominative for the Premium plan.

You can switch roles between admin and member at any time, however as our pricing is per admin (depending on your plan), and based on your renewal date, you will be charged a pro-rated fee to upgrade a member into a admin. Downgrading an admin to a member does not incur a pro-rated refund. 


You can add as many members to your account as you like. It's free of charge 💸


An attendee is someone who steps into the event room (or the waiting screen) at least one time.

Our platform works on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registrants can reserve their spot before the event starts by clicking on their access link. We will count live attendees starting from 4 hours before the planned start of your event. 

Anyone in your People tab in the event room that has a grey dot next to their name would be someone who has reserved their spot but is not currently online. They may not show up to the actual event, but if they've connected at least once, we'll save their seat in case they'll be back. We've opted for this logic because the majority of our customers need this "reservation" system.

Monthly Active Users

A monthly active user is a user that has either registered to an event, entered a room, or watched a replay. We will count the same active user only once per month.

Reaching the Attendee Limit

When you reach the attendee limit of your current plan, you'll get a pop-up notification in the event room, asking whether you'd like to upgrade your plan or not.

If you upgrade, the changes will take place immediately, and additional people will be able to enter the room without a problem.

If you choose not to upgrade, additional people who try to enter will be redirected to a page stating that the room is at capacity. So they won't be able to enter the room. 

More Than 1000 Attendees

We don't have plans for more than 1000 attendees at the moment but please reach out at, we might be able to find a solution.

Manage Your Subscription

Cancel My Subscription

Go to your Settings > Billing > Manage my subscription > click on Cancel my subscription

But before make sure there's not something we can do to make you stay. Everything is possible 😉

Pause My Livestorm Account

If you opt for our monthly plan, you can pause your account from your Account Settings at any time.

Billing & Payment

Subscription Renewal

Our plans are subscriptions so they automatically renew each month (for monthly plans) or each year (for annual plans):

  • Monthly subscription: it will renew on the same day each month (if you sign up on March 3rd, your plan will renew on the 3rd of each month). 
  • Annual subscription: it will renew on the same day and month each year.

We have a message right inside the Billing menu when you sign up, so there are no surprises 🙂

You are free to cancel your plan at any time to avoid renewing, you can see more here: Manage your Subscription.

Hidden Fees

There are no hidden fees! 

We cannot charge you unless you have accepted our consent checkboxes for the related subscription/add-ons.


All payments are encrypted and processed via Stripe. We use Chargebee to manage billing and subscription procedures.

You can pay in USD. Just make sure to select USD in the Billing menu when you upgrade 💵

We accept all major credit cards.

Billable Roles

The account owner is an admin by default unless you've switched them to a member and added a different admin. 

If you need to change the owner/admin's email address, you can do that in your Account Settings. All you have to do is click to edit and then enter the new email. Once the new email is confirmed, the account transfer will be complete.

Update Credit Card Information

You can update payment details from your Settings > Billing > Payment Method.

Receive My Invoice Through Email

For this, you can just send a quick message to and let us know which email address you would like them to be sent to. Please bear in mind, if the email address is different from the account owner's, the emails will also be sent to the account owner.
