Connect Livestorm & Microsoft Dynamics 365

Do you use Microsoft Dynamics 365 as your CRM? With the Livestorm integration, your event sessions, registrants and attendance are synced automatically to Dynamics 365. Your sales and marketing teams can follow up on webinar leads, see each contact's engagement and build reports, without any CSV export.

Prerequisites And Permissions#

• This integration is available on the Enterprise plan as an add-on.

• It isn't self-serve: it's activated on request and set up with our team (see the last section of this article).

• Make sure someone with admin access to your Dynamics 365 environment can take part in the setup.

How the Integration Works#

Once the integration is installed, a new Livestorm D365 app appears in your Dynamics 365 environment, with two new objects:

• Livestorm Sessions: every Livestorm event session, with its event name, scheduled date and time, session ID and creation date. Upcoming sessions are Active, past sessions are Inactive.

• Livestorm Registrants: everyone who registers for your events.

When Someone Registers#

• The integration looks for an existing Lead or Contact in Dynamics 365 with the same first name, last name and email.

• If it finds one, it adds them as a Registrant of the session.

• If it doesn't, it creates a new Lead and adds it as a Registrant.

After the Session#

• The registrant's Status is updated: Present if they attended, Invited if they didn't attend or the session is still upcoming.

• The Replay Watched field is updated when they watch the replay.

• Each participation is logged in the Timeline of the Lead or Contact, so your sales team can see their full event history.

What You Can Do With It#

• Build reports on your Livestorm Sessions and Livestorm Registrants.

• Use the Lead and Contact timelines for personalized follow-ups.

• Feed event engagement into your Dynamics 365 workflows or lead scoring.

Limitations#

• Registrants must sign up through Livestorm registration pages: third-party forms aren't supported.

• Need custom objects? They can be set up on request when your integration is activated.
