Are you looking to clean up your workspace by removing inactive team members? Or maybe you're planning to leave a workspace and want to delete your own profile? Whether you're managing a team or simply updating your account, this guide will walk you through the steps to delete a profile or remove someone from your workspace, safely and easily.
Deleting Your Own Profile#
If you need to delete your Livestorm profile:
1Go to Account Settings > My profile
2Click Delete my profile.
All data linked to your profile (polls, chat messages, answers) will be permanently deleted.
Email templates will be reassigned to the workspace owner.
Any webinars or meeting rooms you created will remain.
Your registrant profiles in other workspaces will not be deleted.
3To confirm, click Delete my profile again.
4Once confirmed, you’ll be signed out of Livestorm automatically.
Alternatively, you can delete your profile via Account Settings > Team Members. Just hover over your name and click “Edit” to find the delete option.
If you're the workspace owner, you cannot delete your own profile. To proceed, either delete the entire workspace, or transfer ownership to another member by changing the email address in Account Settings > My Settings.
Deleting Team Members#
Only workspace owners can delete other team members. If you’re not the owner, you can only delete your own profile.
To remove a team member:
1Go to Account Settings > Team Members
2Hover over the member’s profile and click Edit.
3Click Delete team member.
The team member’s data—polls, chat messages, answers—will be permanently deleted.
Email templates will be reassigned to the workspace owner.
Any webinars or meeting rooms they created will remain.
Their registrant profiles in other workspaces won’t be deleted.
4To confirm, click Delete team member again.
Once confirmed, the member will be removed from your workspace.
