Share a Google File

You can share a Google file (Docs, Sheets, Slides) to work collaboratively with your participants in your room.

Go to the Share menu

Click on the Share menu on your control dock.

Select Share a Google document on the menu.

Enter the URL of your Google file (1) and click on Share (2).

Find & copy the link of your Google file

Go to the Google file you want to share.

Click on the Share button on the top right corner of your file.

Click either on Copy link (1) or General Access (2)  to change the access authorizations to Anyone with the link.


Google Slides does not allow for the direct embedding of the presentation on Mobile devices. In order to avoid a 403 error on mobile devices, you may need to use the embed link proposed by Google. You can access this link by choosing File > Share > Publish to web > Embed from your Google document. Once your material is published, you will be able to access the embed link to share.

If necessary, change the contributor's role to Editor to work collaboratively with your participants.

If the file is private, it will not be displayed on the replay and some attendees won't be able to see it.


Paste the link of your Google file

Paste the link of your Google file you've just copied.

Click on the Share button.

Work collaboratively on your Google file

You can now work collaboratively on your file with your participants according to the authorization you gave them previously.

The navigation in the file won't be seen on the replay. The display will stay fixed on the original view.


Remove your Google file from stage

  • Click on the X in the top right corner to remove your Google Document from the stage.
