Which Pricing Plan?On which plans? All plans before June 13, 2022

If you signed up with Livestorm before June 13, 2022 you may have a plan that is priced per h ost.When you sign up to Livestorm, you automatically get Livestorm Free which is our basic, free plan. It allows you to try the platform for an unlimited amount of time. Livestorm also offers different paying plans according to your needs: Livestorm PremiumLivestorm Business, and Livestorm Enterprise. At a certain point you might need to upgrade or downgrade your plan, change your payment method, and download your invoices. In this article, you'll learn everything about how to manage your subscription.

Upgrade Your Livestorm Plan

You might need to host longer events or be able to add more admins than the Livestorm Free plan offers. In that case, you can upgrade your plan to a Premium one.

Upgrade to Livestorm Premium

You might need to host longer events than Livestorm Basic offers or be able to add more admins and attendees. In that case, you can upgrade to Livestorm Premium.

Go to your dashboard and click on Upgrade now.

Click on Subscribe under Livestorm Premium.

A side panel will open allowing you to choose:
  • Your currency (dollars or euro)
  • Your team members (admins or members)
  • The number of live attendees
  • Your billing cycle

A summary of your total cost will show at the bottom.

Then click on Subscribe.

A window will open so you can add your billing address.

🇪🇺  European Customers: don't forget to add your VAT Registration # so that the respective VAT will be added or removed if applicable.

Then, enter your billing details.
The total amount is adjusted with the taxes according to your billing address.

Once your payment is processed, Livestorm Premium will be active immediately and will renew automatically (as it's a subscription).

On your Billing tab, you will now see Manage my subscription under Livestorm Premium and you will see when your next billing date is.

Congratulations, you can now use Livestorm Premium! 🎉

Switch to Livestorm Pro (per Monthly Active Contact)

You can switch from Livestom Basic/Premium to Livestorm Pro which is a plan per monthly active contact if it better fits your needs.

Go to your Account Settings > Billing.

Click on Subscribe under the Pro plan section.

Choose your monthly active contact limit, your currency, and your billing cycle, then click on Subscribe.

That's it, you now have a Pro plan! 🎉

Livestorm Premium Upgrades

If you need to add more admins or increase your live attendee limit to your plan, you can upgrade at any time!

Upgrades are immediate and you'll receive a pro-rated invoice.

Go to your Account Settings > Billing

Click on Manage my subscription under Livestorm Premium.

A side panel will open allowing you to change your plan options.

You can see right away your immediate charges and renewal charges.

Click on Confirm updates to submit!

Last step to confirm by clicking on Are you sure? (or Cancel if you're not sure 😉)

All good, your plan has been updated! 🎉

Livestorm Premium Downgrades

You might not need as many admins or live attendees as your plan offers anymore. You can change your options for your next billing cycle.

Don't forget to downgrade your plan before your next renewal date. For example, if your renewal date is on the 11th of the month and you cancel on the 7th, you will still have access to your features until the 11th and your subscription will end on the 11th.

Downgrades come to effect at the end of the current billing period.

Click on Manage my subscription under Livestorm Premium.

You can see right away your total cost summary.

Click on Confirm updates to submit!

Last step to confirm by clicking on Are you sure? (or Cancel if you're not sure 😉)

On your Billing tab, you can verify the downgrade has been taken into account.

Pause/Cancel Your Subscription

We don't have a "pause" feature but you can cancel at any time and then subscribe again! It works the same way.

Since we provide the flexibility and option to cancel at any time, you will not be refunded if you cancel your plan after your renewal date. Therefore, don't forget to cancel your subscription before your renewal date if you don't want to be charged again.

Go to your Account Settings > Billing

Click on Manage my subscription under Livestorm Premium.

A side panel will open and you can click on Cancel my subscription.

Check all boxes to make sure you understand what it entails.

Click on Proceed cancellation (or Chat with us so we might find a solution that suits you).

Follow the instructions for the final confirmation and click on Confirm cancellation.

Your subscription is now canceled.

On your Billing tab, you can verify the cancelation under Livestorm Premium.

If you just wanted to pause your plan or if you've changed your mind, you can always click on Reactivate my subscription.

When reactivating your plan per admin (our previous pricing), you will need to opt for a plan per monthly active contacts.

Access After Cancelling Livestorm Premium

If you cancel your Livestorm Premium plan, you will be downgraded to Livestorm Basic. Therefore, you will have the free plan limitations.

You will still have access to your account and events but with a limited view of your data/statistics

When you cancel your subscription, your account data are kept for 15 days before being permanently deleted from our servers according to our Privacy Policy. Make sure to download your replays and run exports before your subscription ends.

If you cancel your Livestorm Premium plan, after 15 days, we will delete:

  • Events and their sessions
  • Guest speakers and registrants
  • Replays
  • Chat messages, polls, and questions
  • Instant meeting rooms

As long as you do not delete your workspace, we will keep:

  • Team members
  • Integrations
  • Custom emails
  • Workspaces settings

If you reactivate your plan within 15 days following the end of your subscription, we will keep all of your data. 👌

Update Your Payment Method

If you need to update your payment method:

Go to your Account Settings > Billing

Click on the Payment method under the Billing details section.

A window will open so you can click on Edit Payment Method.

Enter your new payment details and click on Update.

You can now see your new payment method on the Billing details section.

Your Invoices

View/Download Your Invoices

All of your invoices are at your disposal on your account.

Go to your Account Settings > Billing

At the bottom of the section, you have all your invoices.

Hover to View or Download.

If nothing happens, your pop-ups are probably blocked by Google Chrome.

Check if the address bar is marked Pop-up blocked and if you see this symbol:

Click on the symbol to allow the pop-up.

You should now be able to view/download your invoices! 🙌

Receive Your Invoices by Email

Invoices are not sent automatically by email. However, you can send a message to help@livestorm.co and let us know which email address you would like them to be sent to.

If the email address is different from the account owner's, the emails will also be sent to the account owner.
